The majestic Es Pontàs in Mallorca tempts and attracts many travelers, unfortunately this place also has a bad reputation. Many brave ones have lost their lives here, jumping off a bridge or balancing on a suspended rope - if you are brave and feel the strength of the legendary Tarzan, you must try ...

Route to Es Pontas
It's hard to find your way to this place. It is in vain to look for signposts here. You can only turn on navigation, and walk the rest of the route on your feet. Below you will find a map with a place where you can leave your car.

The road from the parking lot to the viewpoint is typically trekking, full of stones, it becomes very slippery and dangerous in the rain. After about 300 meters, we come to the viewpoint from which there is a wonderful view of the majestic Es Pontàs.
Halfway down the road is Equilibrio Sud - it's a totem designed by Rolf Schaffner, built in 1995. In the north and south, east and west, Rolf Schaffner erects his stelae Equilibrio. Together, they form the "Meridians of Peace" and ensure a balance between planet Earth and its inhabitants.

Es pontas is a magical place for climbers and water jumpers. For the "firsts", this is a place that has only been reached by 3 climbers, so if you plan to climb, you will need incredible skills like Chris Sharma.
If you want to try a jumping from a height, this place is for you. Infamous, many people have lost their health here, and a few have lost their lives. Nevertheless, it attracts many of daredevils who jump or balance on a rope every day like Tarzan to finally make a jump into deep water.

Is it worth seeing Es Pontas ?
As I mentioned, the place is magical and majestic. Go ahead and plan more time here. Even if you are not going out of the extreme attractions, you can safely explore the paths around the bridge and contemplate the amazingness of Mother Nature. There are 2 extremely epic beaches in the area: Cala Santanyi and Cala Llombards.
