GrisGris beach - Cliffs
After reaching the destination, we saw a fabulous view of the endless ocean.
Gris Gris is one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches of Mauritius.
The locals call it Weeping Rock - the waves hitting the cliff drip down the rocks. Locals see the tears streaming down the rocks in it.
The beach is picturesque but also dangerous. Locals advise against bathing!
There is a legend associated with this place
It is said that between the dam reef and the cliffs there is a rock resembling a praying nun. Those who have vivid imaginations can also see the figure of a witch in gri-gris. Gris-Gris is also the name of the dog Abbee de la Caille, who came to the island of France in 1753.
Storm is coming
At the top of the cliff, we found an inconspicuous food truck, here we eat the best samosa on the island.
It looks inconspicuous, but the food was delicious!
