Tamarind Falls (also known as Tamarin Falls or the 7 Cascades) is a must-see attraction, located in the southwest of the island. The waterfall area is a popular leisure and hiking area.
Located on a central plateau close to the little village of Henrietta, a walk through Tamarind Falls is one of Mauritius' must see and not to be missed. With 11 waterfalls, many jumps, deep ponds and lush greenery; Tamarind Falls is one of the most beautiful canyons on the island and will suit the avid adventurer.
A local guide is a treasure!
The place is dizzy. On the one hand, there is a breathtaking view of the waterfalls, from the expensive one overlooking the ocean.

You will be amazed by the view from the fascinating waterfall 40 meters long, the wonderful view of the lush green canyon and many other captivating attractions.
Walking behind a spectacular waterfall is simply a blissful experience where you can see the sun's rays reflected by the waterfall. The large, refreshing pond at the foot of the waterfall is very accessible for a pleasant swim. You can also enjoy a natural massage while standing under the cascade.
Little frequented place, which is a pity because it's magical.
There is only us and amazing nature.
We were very lucky to see this place also from the plane.
